I have done a lot of reading over the past seven years, and it has kicked my love into overdrive. I have always loved to read but life sometimes gets in the way and I wasn’t reading nearly enough until I started reading for Beauty and Lace.
2014 saw me sign up for the Goodreads Reading Challenge and enjoy watching my challenge tally creep up. This year I went one step further and signed up for both Goodreads and the Australian Women Writer’s Challenge for 2015.
My Goodreads Challenge for the year was 65 books, about what I read last year, and I was pretty confident that I could get there. I did more than get there, I smashed it. As I write this, on December 29, I am at 102 books and that will grow because I’m in the middle of a short story series.
The Australian Women Writer’s Challenge was a hard one to pick a number for and I decided on 50, I figured it would be a great challenge. I smashed that one too and am at 77 books by Australian Women Writers. There will be a couple more because of the short stories but possibly not all will be reviewed this year.
I know I read a lot of Australian writers, and many of them are women but about 75% was a surprise even to me. It will be interesting to see how it goes next year.
So here it is, my list of books that qualify for the Australian Women Writer’s Challenge and their review links, where available.

I devour books, vampires and supernatural creatures are my genre of choice but over the past couple of years, I have broadened my horizons considerably. In a nutshell – I love to write! I love interacting with a diverse range of artists to bring you interviews. Perhaps we were perfect before – I LOVE WORDS!

Congratulations Michelle, a great achievement!
Thanks Janine, I was pretty proud of the effort.
