And Now, Back to You by B.K. Borison is a story of romance, family and standing up for yourself.
Jackson Clark, a radio weather forecaster, is predictable, likes order and comfortable in his radio booth. He has custody of his 15 year old twin sisters, who he loves and would do anything for.
Delilah Stewart, a TV weather forecaster, is spontaneous, fun and adventurous. Delilah’s boss doesn’t take her seriously, sending her on lots of crazy assignments. This is rather frustrating for Delilah, as after all, she is a trained meteorologist.
Jackson and Delilah think they have nothing in common other than both being meteorologists. Their only contact has been post-it notes on each other’s cars about parking disputes.
Now the pair are being sent to the mountains to jointly cover a freak weather event.
Prior to leaving, they discover they may have more in common than they believed. They both have scars and bruises emotionally from their pasts. A pact is made. Delilah will help Jackson find his fun side, and Jackson will help Delilah become a serious weather presenter.
Throw in a cosy lodge in the stunning mountains, a terrifying snow storm and not everything going to plan, the scene is set for unexpected chemistry. Could their friendship lead to romance, and what will happen when they return to their lives in the city?
The story contains important topics. Dementia, employment issues, family issues, anxiety, and more are portrayed in a supportive and relatable way.
Jackson, Delilah and all the supporting characters are wonderful. The romance is definitely a case of opposites attract, mixed with humour.
The book is a great read.

I love to read, any book on any topic. I now love ebooks as they are easier to store, I was running out of bookshelves! My other interests are family, gardening and our beautiful King Charles spaniel dog who is my reading companion.

I don’t really think of myself as a romance reader, but a good rom com can always suck me in. Here Borison has given me just that: a charming story, perfectly balanced between heart and humor.
This is the second in a lightly linked series – which is to say, characters recur in a shared setting, but each book has a stand alone story. I hadn’t read the first but had no trouble at all following or enjoying this one.
It’s very much an opposites attract situation: Jackson is buttoned up and predictable, neat and tidy and committed to his routines. Delilah is disorganized and chaotic and rarely predictable. Both share a passion for the weather, however, and both are good at their jobs forecasting it, Jackson for a radio station and Delilah for a local TV station.
As a publicity stunt, the two are forced to travel together to a slightly isolated lodge to report on a huge snowstorm. Both have their reasons for accepting the assignment, despite significant reservations.
Borison absolutely piles on the tropes, with forced proximity (she doubles down on that one), isolation, oops there’s only one bed, and opposites attract. She does it with charm and style, and I can’t see many romance readers objecting.
Romances usually fail or work based on the characters, and here Borison hands us two who are sympathetic, recognisable, and believable. Both have their quirks, but it’s not so over the top as to be irritating. I could see myself being friends with either, and the result is that it’s easy for the reader to cheer them on and want to see them together.
I did quirk an eyebrow at some of the things that various characters did in a work situation, but hey, it made for a good story even if it’s not completely believable. The story is well paced and the writing style smooth and undemanding.
I enjoyed reading this. It’s diverting and fun, with just a dash of real emotion. Even if you only enjoy romance occasionally, I think you’ll enjoy this.
A huge thank you to Beauty and Lace and Pan Macmillan for the opportunity to read and review And Now Back to You by B.K. Borison, such a feel-good story, I loved every minute of it.
Sweet, goofy, sleep-deprived, nerdy Jackson, and fun girl, up for anything, practical joker Delilah are thrust together by their respective bosses, to the far-flung Mountain town of Deep Creek to cover a record-breaking snowstorm. Polar opposites Jackson the charts guy and Delilah the wing-it girl, have to navigate their differences and provide daily television broadcasts back to the network station.
The banter between Jackson and Delilah is free flowing and carefree, they communicate on their own level, with the ever-attentive Jackson moonlighting as the calm place, Delilah never knew she needed.
Although And Now Back to You, is the second book in the Heart Strings series, it’s perfect as a stand-a-lone read, I’m so excited now to read B.K. Borison’s back catalogue.
Delilah is just one of those people that easily becomes loved by everyone. She always has a smile upon her face and finds a way to bring joy into peoples lives with her up beat carefree attitude and her very quirky personality but as is often the case there is a sadness hidden deep inside as she deals with her Grandfathers declining health as he slips deeper into a World where his memories are fading and his mind is becoming more confused. Delilah loves that he can tune in to the tv daily and watch her doing the weather report. One thing that never changes in his life.
Working near by is Jackson who does the daily weather also but on the radio. Jackson lives a life thats very ordered and controlled. Everything in its place and a place for everything. Post it notes and spreadsheets help to make life better. His daily frustration is with the woman, Delilah whos parking is very hit and miss and staying between the lines doesnt seem to be something she feels she has to worry about.
With a massive snow storm on the way its decided that Jackson and Delilah will be paired and will be sent into the mountains to do live daily broadcasts. What could possibly go wrong?
This is a fun story that had me quietly chuckiling in a couple of locations as I imagined the visual of what was going on. How will they both feel when they discover the hidden parts of each others lives? Will they be able to get over their long term war with each other and be able to get through this work assignment?
And now, back to you by B.K Boris’s follows two meteorologists, Jackson who’s on the radio and Delilah who covers the weather on live TV.
Jackson’s life is ruled by spreadsheets and organisation whilst Delilah is complete caos.
Thrown together to cover a massive storm together in the mountains will opposites attract or will they be destined to annoy each other forever.
The storyline angle for this book should have been good but I felt it maybe had a few too many angles and none of them got covered properly. A little bit more depth into the different angles would have brought the story together so much better.
I didn’t dislike it, but I feel it had more potential, it definitely wasn’t a book that I couldn’t put down.
Thank you Beauty and Lace and Pan McMillan for the copy to read and review.
And Now, Back To You by B.K. Borison is the story of ordered, predictable radio weather presenter Jackson Clark and spontaneous, seemingly carefree TV weather presenter Delilah Stewart. Jackson and Delilah are sent by their respective bosses to jointly cover a major snow storm at a remote, cosy inn where things don’t go quite as planned
Jackson and Delilah both have childhoods and responsibilities that have left them with self-doubt and confidence issues. Rather than dragging the story down, these just make them more endearing to the reader and add depth of character to two already likeable characters. The chemistry and the way they interacted with each other had me cheering them on and hoping they would weather the storm and get their happily ever after.
Add in Jacksons’ twin 15 year old sisters, his friend Aiden, Delilahs’ friend Gianna, her cameraman Mark and her less than nice boss Keith and you have a great bunch of characters to go with what would make a great script for a Rom Com. If this book was made into a movie I would go and watch it.
Thank you to Beauty and Lace and Pan Books for the opportunity to read and review this ripper of a read.
And Now, Back To You by B.K. Borison is the second in a series but I read without having read the first. I would class it as standalone as well as it’s a complete story.
Jackson Clark and Delilah Stewart are both meteorologists, him working on radio and her on local TV. Their styles are very different, him methodical and in control, and her, chaotic and upbeat. They are thrown together for a joint work mission and have to somehow combine their skills and make it work. They are covering a mega snowstorm and Delilah wants to make their stay fun while Jackson is not comfortable in front of the camera. They have both got scars from their earlier lives, him looking after his sisters, and her being looked after by her grandfather, after parents not parenting. Also, Delilah’s boss Keith seems insistent on making her working life as hard as it can be.
On this work trip they realise they complement each other and can get along, and more than that, they have feelings for each other. This works well while they’re away, but can it survive their everyday lives with all their issues?
I enjoyed this book as it had some deeper issues, but was an easy read with likable leads. I wanted them to end up together and fight to be happy. Would definitely recommend and read other books by this author.
And Now Back To You by B.K. Borison
I just finished reading this book and at first glance I thought it was another romance story .
It turned out to have alot more depth then I expected.
The story is about Jackson and Delliah who are complete opposites he is safe and protective and Delliah likes to live on the edge .
As their relationship slowly develops it made me smile .
I really like the whole journalism setting it made the story a bit different, it was about stepping outside your comfort zone. I really enjoyed the book it made me feel warm and satisfied. Thank you Beauty and Lace .
