Julia Quinn is one of the world’s bestselling romance authors and the youngest member of the Romance Writers of America’s Hall of Fame. Her 20 novels have been translated into 26 languages.
August will see her make her first trip to Australia with engagements from one coast to the other, a beautiful first trip to our gorgeous country where I hope she will have the chance to do some sightseeing and check out what we have to offer.
The visit starts in Fremantle, Western Australia where she she is the keynote speaker at the 22nd annual conference of Romance Writers of Australia. Following Fremantle Julia will head to Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney for talks and opportunities to meet her many fans.
The dates for this much anticipated visit are August 16-18 in Fremantle, which I’m sure all the members of RWA are well aware (I’ve been on the periphery of a few conference related Twitter and Facebook chats of late and I must say I’m extremely jealous. I would love to jet off to Fremantle to meet some of these wonderful, talented women. But I digress).
August 19 will see her visit Melbourne, then Brisbane on August 20 and Sydney on August 21 – perhaps there won’t be sightseeing time.
Fans of Julia Quinn need to check out these events because there are going to be signings, books will be available for purchase or you can take in the ones you already own and have them signed. This will be quite a fabulous opportunity for fans because a trip this big may not happen frequently.

My blurb went missing… so now I have to bring you a new one. One that is a little broader too.
I devour books, vampires and supernatural creatures are my genre of choice but over the past couple of years I have broadened my horizons considerably.
I inhale music, hair metal that satisfies my inner bogan is where my musical passion lies, but again I’ve been exposed to lots of different music I wouldn’t normally listen to and have broadened those horizons also.
In a nutshell – I love to write! I love interacting with a diverse range of artists to bring you interviews.
Perhaps we were perfect before – I LOVE WORDS! Reading, writing, speaking, listening – if it’s got words I’m there!
